    Terrible customer service. Restricted my business account without speaking to me to let me know. Gave them all the information that they asked for, and still no contact from them, now 12 days without a bank!

    Seems easy enough to open an account, but Customer Service is appalling, account gets blocked even when you reply to their emails within their timeframe, the people blocking your account aren't 'customenr-facing' (jargon for 'we're not talking to you'). They leave you with no way to conduct your business, pay bills, accept payment, just for blocking you account as part of 'routine checks'. AVOID THIS BANK!

    The worst staff and the most idiotic people, I sent the documents through the online portal, then by post and they answer me non-stop that they didn't receive the documents and that they fit in the time frame!

    Worst card ever. If you want to travel outside of the UK then dont bother. The card never works even if you call and say you will be in a certain country it will still let you down. Nothing worse than being in a different country and praying that the card will work when your in a vulnerable situation. My advice is stay well clear.

    I honestly never really leave reviews I honestly never really leave reviews but I want to make sure that potential customers know exactly what they are getting themselves in for. Before joining I had read lots of negative reviews about this bank but I thought it was just typical disgruntled customers - nothing could be further from the truth. Those things youre reading online are all true! Take them as a warning - I didnt and then had to go through months of turmoil. I opened a personal account and business account with this bank. I travel a lot but didnt envision that being a problem. I was a customer for over a year - no issues at all - then out of the blue they sent me a list of questions with a threat of blocking my account if they werent answered by a certain date. I explained I was traveling, sent photos of my passport with all corresponding tourist stamps. The letter they had sent stated that if I didnt hear back from them then I should assume the answers and documents I sent had been accepted. One day a few months later I suddenly couldnt access or use my bank accounts or cards. I called them up - they agreed they hadnt responded to my message but stated there was nothing they could do. The staff on the phone are drones without any say over anything to do with your account. The people making the decision are basically not contactable. The account stayed blocked for ages - imagine your bank blocking your account while youre abroad for no reason. You did everything they had asked, you even called them before you left to let them know where you were going and how long for. Imagine them leaving your stranded without cash in a foreign country and with no ability or desire to help you. If you want such a bank- choose Cashplus. I left finally and joined a big bank. The service is incomparable. Please dont make the same mistake that I did. Dont ignore the warnings youve seen online about this bank. I did and the months of stress I went through after were just not worth it.
