My Mother-in-Law was a resident at the Belvedere for almost six years and in all that time, she was given the best of care. At first she was able to get about, but as time went on, she stayed in bed more and more and she was rarely left alone - someone would pop in every now and then to ensure she was alright and didn't need anything. Her personal care was addressed every day, when she couldn't feed herself or even drink, she was helped and when it was very hot last summer, the carers ensured she didn't become dehydrated. They not only cared for her, they cared ABOUT her and for that I will be forever grateful. Unfortunately, we lost her recently, but someone sat with her and held her hand while my husband tried to get there. He wasn't in time, but it was a comfort to know she hadn't been alone. In all the time we have visited, I have never seen any reason for concern - everyone is treated with kindness and respect and the staff seem to look out for what they can do next to help someone. They were always very kind and friendly to me and my husband when we went and I cannot thank them enough for that. I would recommend them to anyone - in fact, I already have.

An absolute perfect home. Everything I need for my Uncle. Sad times, but I could not wish for better care for him. He is expertly, lovingly and well cared for by all of the kind staff. All and more besides what care homes should be. Thank you all. X

Did my first placement as student nurse at The Belvedere and had a great time there, the standard and quality of care is very high and excellent and the staffs are trained on a regular basis so that the high standard of care will be maintained . During my six weeks placement , i was part of two training programs which is the defensible documentation and mental health deprivation act and the use of DOLS and i observed that The Belvedere is all about the quality of care for the service users and the manager always emphasised on keeping the standard and quality of care high to the best interest of the service user and in Belvedere you will get Care, Compassion Courage , Communication, commitment and competence which is the top priority of nurses when giving out care. .
