Clare has been fitting saddles for my ponies for many years now with out Clare's support and knowledge I would have had very unhappy sore ponies , instead I have happy ponies pinging their way to royal international and horse of the year show

I made an appointment with Clare to measure my horse for a saddle, I was given an email address to send pictures of my horse however the email kept returning to me, (probably my fault as I may not have written the email down incorrectly) I had no confirmation of the appointment or any other communications from Clare until 09:30am by way of a text message informing me she had not received any photos from me and that she would be with me at 12:30, this was several weeks after our phone conversation. Unfortunately I had another appointment and told clare that I would not be available, I was then informed that she had a booking early this day with another customer in my location and was now unable to book in any other work and would be charging me 40 for cancelling the visit less than 24hrs. Clare asked me to email my details to her so that she could send an invoice for the money which I refused to do, I was then told that because I was not going to pay this money she would be contacting a group of other saddle fitters and passing them my details. Very unprofessional, no contract, no booking, nothing to confirm your visit. Nothing on your website about cancelation fees.

I've had 2 saddles and various bits and bobs of tack. They have always been very helpful and professional at all times. My new saddle is great and Max is going better than ever.

Splendidly sturdy saddlery - albeit a seemingly simple and straightforward strap stitching task in a pair of new riding boots. Having had some of the pitfalls of incorrect sewing styles for this specific task explained to me, I can see why saddlery by Bearhouse is far safer and long-lasting than attempting any kind of bodge job yourself..! Excellent work.
