Is this company some sort of scam ? I first booked London to Brighton 2021, rearranged from July to October so I didnt go, then Vietnam Cambodia, cancelled so re booked Egypt Nov 22, utter shambles so bad we could re book another trip FOC, unfortunately had already booked London to Paris 15th June before I had experienced Egypt disaster and having paid In full, got the kit, bought new road bike for the challenge not to mention the training this trip is now rearranged as of today for September supposedly due to lack of participants able to raise 1,700 I wont be going as I cant make the new date and apparently can only have registration fee refunded if you have fundraised your sponsors all need to apply for a refund if they want to - how many are going to do that ? Nice one

Beware of booking with this company! We were meant to go on the trip of a lifetime but missed out on it due to their bad advice regarding visas. We have lost 5,000.00. Their communication has been poor and when they do reply they are very arrogant and unhelpful. I do not want anyone else to loose their hard earned money!

More communication when dealing with refunds, rather than extending the refund window. AKA, refund within 4w, turned into refund by the end of October '21, which turned into 6w window. Now there is no end in sight and when I call, I'm given the usual answer of "you're close to the top of the list" but can't give me the date of which BACs run I'll be on. Shocking. Looking back, it seems like this has been a problem for years. The even was meant to be in June 2021 and I'm still waiting for my money back!

If the option for 0 stars was available i would happily give it. This company is diabolical, they dont care about their customers in the slightest, they only care about lining their own pockets. To put it into perspective they specifically told us to use a singular company to get a visa for India (bare in mind India only Now accepts visa done through the Indian embassy) so they totally got that wrong, by the time we were informed by the specific company and tried to get a visa through the embassy it was too late. We contacted dream challenges and they claimed it was our own fault for leaving it too late and have refused to help/ offer even the slightest refund even though we followed their advice from start to finish. They continue to ignore all of our communication and delete any posts we put up. Stay away from Dream Challenges!! Disgusting services.

We booked a trek to India in Jan21, 22 months ahead of a trip due to leave Oct22. We paid the full remaining balance of 5k, 4th Aug22. We knew we needed a visa to India and we also knew we needed the addresses where we would be staying to be granted a visa. We kept asking Dream Challenges when can we apply for a visa, they kept saying "not yet, we will tell you when to" so we waited and waited, finally less than 2 months before the travel date on 2nd Sept 22, Dream Challenges provided the required visa information. We happened to be out of the country for a few days when the email arrived, and on our return 8 days later, Dream Challenges issued a further email saying there were no more visa appointments at the Indian Embassy ahead of our trip! Without a visa we simply cannot travel and gain entry to India. We booked this trip 20 months before the Embassy ran out of visa appointment slots, what took Dream Challenges so long to provide the information we NEEDED. Their excuse now is, "its the travellers responsibility to get a VISA" - we agree with this, BUT we are not mind readers or psychic, a visa application would be rejected without the addresses we would be staying at. ONLY Dream Challenges had this information along with our 5k. Quite simply, as professional travel advisors, Dream Challenges failed to provide sufficient information in the sufficient time to obtain a visa. 8 days is unreasonable, especially as they didn't say we had to act urgently in those 8 days. Dream Challenges accept zero responsibility for this, and refuse any type of refund. (we have been told, there were no spare rooms on this trip, no spare food and less staff supporting the trip by someone actually on the trip) Where did all our money go??!! Dream Challenges like to pride them selves on partnering with charities, (they are not a charity themselves). This trip was for #MIND. Ironic this was to raise awareness of mental health, but Dream Challenges treatment of the supporters of MIND have suffered hugely at this situation. (Noting Dream Challenges has kept every penny, there were 4 in our party 10k in total). No apology, no offer of compensation, no negotiation, just arrogance and 100% would not recommend Dream Challenges! And would give zero stars if possible!
