Course is in excellent condition the bar is well stocked the staff friendly and the food is tasty

The 9 hole course two weeks ago was in a terrible state. There were literally no fairways, it was just 3 to 4 inches of thick rough grass. Impossible to get a decent lie anywhere. The greens were ok. But ground conditions on the 6th are still shockingly bad. Better to keep it closed until repaired rather than charging green fees.

Had christmas lunch, the poorest i have encountered in my 70+ years. Another lunch with my retirement association. The food was fine, but so slow coming, they did not have the restraint side of the bar open, so members were inconvenienced by our group quing at there very slow bar. The filthy carpet makes the place look scruffy. The dining area is acoustically horrible, all hard surfaces, so holding a conversation is difficult above the high background noise.

Club house and Pro Shop excellent. Course leaves a bit to be desired? No hot food available, just crisps. Good selection of drinks.
