What a rip off joint! Dont display any prices, respond very unhelpfully when asked and then charge 30/kg for cod loin. The fresh fish stall further down the beach is half the price and much better.

One small pot of whelks, one small pot of mussels and a dressed crab the size of my I-phone 6 17.50. Really? The most miserable old bloke serving all comes to the most awful buying experience in Aldeburgh. The price equates to the most expensive seafood in MadDogs long life. Ive lived in East London all my life and view it as the seafood Center of the universe. This is pro rata 100% dearer than anywhere Ive eaten lately. Anyone would think its a tourist trap!! Some of the people reviewing need to get out more. By the way the said seafood was as it should be no more no less

Visited this morning, was hoping to purchase some smoked haddock, asked if they could skin the haddock fillet and was told they were too busy, nobody else either in shop or queuing at this time, it actually took him longer to moan about the fact he was too busy than it would have taken to skin the fillet! Wishing to actually buy some fish and support a small supplier we said we would have some cod loin, we asked if we could have half of a large loin he refused to sell a half portion. At this point we just walked and visited another supplier just along the road who provided excellent fish and service.
