Restaurant is a curry one. We did not go there as wanted to sample the Aldeburgh delights of fish.
Downstairs nice enough. Bar and breakfast area clinical. Rooms tired. Scruffy. Damp. No drinking water. Patches on ceiling. rawplugs sticking out. Filthy light pull. What a terrible shame. No allowance for single occupancy. Very expensive. Very friendly staff. Great views. Wonderful parking. Such a shame. A lick of paint. A bucket of bleach. Upgrade the plumbing and things would be alot better. I'd love to go back but..

Walkability: You could walk along the beach. A nice little museum across the road in a small Tudor building. Very windy when we were there but still lovely.
Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice and nothing too much trouble. The staff at the hotel were all lovely.
