Sadly a poor experience. The kennels are long and narrow and in a grubby part out of sight. My dog was returned to me sodden in urine, as was her bedding, though not all of it was returned? That she urinated to create comfort wasn't exceptional I know - though shows she didn't feel secure. The annoying aspect was that I asked specifically how she'd been as it was her first time in kennels, and was told that "she's been really good". Really good, yet absolutely soaked in her own urine? Not good. And it wasn't one wee, it was stale urine, so bad that I drove home with the windows open. Her undercoat was so sodden that she was actually sticky. None of the above is good. When I contacted them to raise the issue I got a couple of emails and a promise to post the bedding to me and then radio silence with no bedding returned (my king size duvet cover (for scent) so not cheap). All round poor. I won't be using them again.

A mixed bag! I have no doubt the staff are very loving and attentive towards the animals that are boarding. The last time I used them, my dog came back happy and healthy - so no complaints there. However, if you're the type of dog owner that likes to check how their dog is getting on every once in a while - perhaps you should look elsewhere! There is a good chance you'll be ringing for days wondering why nobody is picking up.... My most recent experience: I booked my dog in for the 4th November. I submitted a veterinary print-out (in lieu of a vaccination card), along with filling out a questionnaire after being prompted by an automated email. In the following days, my partner and I repeatedly tried to phone them (both landline and mobile) to confirm receipt of my email and that the veterinary report was sufficient evidence of vaccination history. We also left voicemails that were ignored. I received another automated email a few days later again requesting the information I had already sent - suggesting that my initial email had been undelivered/ignored. I waited as long as I could, but on the morning before my flight, I had no other choice but to book alternative accommodation due to the total radio silence from B&B. I finally received a call back from B&B in the afternoon after informing them that alternative arrangements had been made. However, they were unwilling to refund our deposit despite our experience with them.
