My elderly Nan took her car for an MOT and to replace a broken spring. They did the MOT and my Nan asked if they could take her home - 0.7 miles - as she couldnt walk that far. They refused and said they dont offer this service. I work for a car dealership and we do this as we value our customers and its the right thing to do. My Nan had to wait and get a taxi home. I dropped her off to pick her car back up, 200 later, day later she finds out the shock absorber is now damaged. After speaking with a more reputable company, they advised this sometimes occurs when springs are not replaced with care, therefore, they have now also caused more damage. My Nan called them to find out what they can do to which they responded that they were not interested in what she had to say and to call back some other time. My Nan (being my Nan) asked the man if there was a problem to which he started yelling and swearing down the phone - potentially doesnt like women we established.
