Willowbank Holiday Home & Touring Park

Lovely helpful staff who explained everything. A lovely site with everything you need for a night or two away from home or longer. Close proximity to Southport and Formby. Brilliant. Has all the usual waste facilities and it is lovely and clean. They have hot showers, toilets, washer/dryer and dish wash areas. Also have disabled toilets. Have I mentioned it's lovely? We return here regularly. There is a small separate fenced off section where it should be possible to have a kick about 5 a side style with a football. We visit Southport to go shopping; there are savings to be had if you look. There are also lots of charity shops in both Southport and Formby; some better than others.

Willowbank was great. As first-timers, touring in our little Go-Pod, we were given a very watm welcome and allocated a pitch quite near to the excellent, well-presented facilities. Paul and Wayne helped us get in and hook up. Peaceful overnight and we chatted in the sun, with our temporary neighbours, next day. Lovely!
