I wasnt overly impressed truthfully, I believe its massively overpriced in comparison to other places Ive stayed similar to this. The staff all seemed friendly enough which is nice but there were a few things that didnt sit right with me. Arrived at the accommodation at 14:30 as suggested, we didn't have our towels or lanterns which we paid extra for. However, the man working was apologetic and dropped them off 20 minutes after with a bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates which was very nice of him. The hot tub was at 15 degrees Celsius when we arrived at 14:30 and it wasn't up to temperature until 20:30 so that was six hours we couldnt even use the hot tub which doesnt seem fair at all. The accommodation itself was very clean, so no complaints in that respect. However, there was a light that didnt work above the bed which made access and egress a bit sketchy during the night to use the toilet. The extraction in the bathroom is very loud and goes on for around 30 mins after turning bathroom light off, so that can be disturbing when youre trying to get to sleep. The fire pit wasnt cleaned before arrival, and the firewood provided was not dry enough to use in my opinion. Its in a great location as its only a 10 minute drive from Northallerton main street which is convenient. The premises of the property are well maintained and very scenic.

This is a lovely little place. We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids under 10 years old) the pull out sofa bed was ample space for the kids, easy to pack away and decent space on the double bed for us. Great facilities, everything you need in the little kitchenette too. The hot tub was fab too and we paid a little extra for wood for our firepit. The farm grounds were lovely and calm to have a walk around and the playground was fun and well kept for the kids. It's all very tranquil and good for a couple of nights R&R. Walkable distance from the little village as well.
