Stayed in Aikton for a week and ate at the Aikton Arms for three nights on the trot. At time of writing it is only open for food on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. The food is delicious, all fresh cooked, served piping hot and the portions are very generous. An extensive menu to choose from too. Price is very responsible, a two course meal for two plus a beer or two was generally around 40, definitely good value for what you get. Staff are really friendly and attentive too.

A very extensive and varied vegetarian and vegan menu, all food was hot, served quickly and so tasty. Such good prices for the portion size and quality of the food too. We cant wait to come back.

Had a lovely family meal here. This little gem just keeps getting better. Food was lovely and all home made. The service was spot on and had a real personal touch. I will definitely recommend and will be coming back.
