They are the response unit for McCarthy and Stone accommodation. There is a play on words in their promotional which is highly misleading. The 24-hour 7 support is not what it appears. We experienced this graphically, over the bank holiday they were responsible for the support at McCarthy and Stone in Leek As the was no staff on at this time. The lift went out of action on the Saturday leaving elderly people who could not negotiate the stairs stranded. On contacting them they said they would be out to it the following day. This meant that people who had left the apartment could not return leaving them out all night. They said the 24-hour support meant they had 24 hours in order to respond it was not a round-the-clock service. This fact is important to be known. The lesson here is do not just believe the promotional material.

A strange place where they seem to think they are part of the emergency services. They have unrealistic expectations from the employees. If you don't cut it in the first week, they usher you out by the end of the second week. They don't recruit properly and yet they demand high quality for average wages.
