        I used Drivers Only LTD, way back in 1989. I had a Fiat Regata 100S which ran a bit roughly at lower revs (carb problems?). I asked for an estimate for the work needed, and was told to pop back later that day. When I did, the bill was about 98, and the car was no better. They couldn't fix the problem because they weren't sure what was causing it. I was appalled and explained that I wished to remove the car immediately. I was then told that I couldn't do so without signing a disclaimer. They believed the car had problems affecting its safety, and the mechanic was furious that I wasn't going to leave it to them to sort out. Please note that 98 in 1989 would now be equivalent to about 312 in 2023. Never again, ever!!
