Runnymede Borough Council

A well run borough with excellent, helpful staff in benefits and housing departments. They are also good at communicating with community groups and supporting them. A lot of the noble things going on in Addlestone Victory Park are thanks to the Council giving local people the opportunity to help maintain and develop the park. Addlestone One was an ambitious project which has worked out well in many ways. The eateries are excellent and everyone loves the Cinema. Hopefully the same is being experienced now in Eghams rejuvenated town centre. All in all, R.B.C. is more efficient and also progressive Council than I have lived under, before moving into Runnymede 12 yrs ago.

recently moved to the area and i must say the worst council ive ever lived under. Their refuse and waste services are bizarre and the team are so unhelpful. if id known the poor general customer service i would get i would have chosen to live elsewhere.

This council doesn't help its residents what so ever. We have applied for a housing as are being evicted from our current rented house and the council are not helping us even though we have 2 children. They also didn't help during covid when we had to self isolate during Xmas and couldn't getting any help from family as we don't have family in london! This council is a disgrace!

Sarah was so unbelievably helpful my name is Joseph and I called about council tax issues and she worked it out w me, so thanks a bunch guys awesome
