With no previous experience of major building projects, Janette and I were keen to work solely with a main contractor and to have our 2 storey kitchen extension managed from beginning to end. We obtained 3 quotations but our first meeting with Mark and Steve gave me the confidence that we were engaging a long standing professional team who preferred to use reputable subcontractors in order to guarantee their own work was not compromised. Due to some appalling weather, the project ran over by a couple of weeks but in the circumstances that was inevitable. The standard of work was great throughout and budgetary control was second to none. The final account came to within a thousand pounds of the original estimate that that was solely due to some 'extras' that we threw in as the work progressed. Mark Ridley was always at the end of the phone to deal with any issues as they arose and inspected the site regularly to ensure we were completely satisfied. I cannot speak highly enough of this business and would happily recommend Ridleys to anybody. Thanks - Mark, Steve, Adam and all the team.

I commissioned Ridley Building on a recent renovation of a large apartment that hadnt been lived in for twenty years; it was a relatively daunting process for us but having Mark and the team on hand to help us through some of the decision making was exceptionally useful. We had a relatively tight budget for all of the works; but the team managed to deliver exceptional quality and turned the project around in the agreed timescales. Being overseas for the majority of the project [thanks to COVID], Mark oversaw all day to day activities and engaged us throughout all of the stages. Working with the Ridley team was an easy process and I really look forward to working on future projects with them. Id not hesitate in recommending Ridley Building, I will be using them again.

We instructed Ridley Building to do all the works for our kitchen extension early last year. Mark Ridley was very helpful on the initial meeting and had some great ideas. We were kept informed of what was going on, as well as kept up to date with costs throughout. All the guys who worked on the house were really nice and everything was finished on time. We were so pleased with everything, we added additional works to the build (got them lay a patio and block paved driveway) at the same time, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommended Ridley Building.
