Rooms: We had a ground floor ensuite room, which was lovely and cosy without being small. There were lovely little extras like a homemade tipple and cake, coffee and tea. Cold water and milk were also available for the room. The WiFi was good and the shower was great. Next time we would ask for a room upstairs as there was a lot of noise from above both nights. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. Food & drinks: The breakfast was tasty, healthy and varied. The vegetarian coeliac ate very well at breakfast. We managed to find an option for him for dinner, but two nights would probably present a challenge. However, all three courses of both our meals were delicious and the wine list was great, too. Again, the service was excellent.
