Out of the gyms Ive been to this one is by far the best, Ash is a top coach with a wealth of knowledge in a variety of martial arts, and the people there are a great bunch to work with and it has a very welcoming atmosphere. I do most of the classes there and love every one. If you are thinking of getting into something whether as a hobby, or to fight, definitely get yourself down to S.M.M.A.C.A

I'd been looking to get back into BJJ after a long break when I found Sudbury MMA and combat academy. I felt lucky that a club had opened up in my hometown, but the real bonus is just how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Stu is the Head instructor, a blackbelt under Arlans Siqueira. He is super knowledgeable and breaks down techniques well. The classes are a good mix of techniques and sparing and there is always a good variety of opponents to roll with. There are a mixture of classes on the timetable. However, the Friday open mat session is the perfect way to end the week! Ash, owner, and head Muay Thai/MMA coach is super laid back but has a real drive to create something special and the club club is growing all the time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a kids class in the future, so I can take my children along too!
