Lovely fresh French pastries. We came in for takeaway a few times, didn't sit in.

Love the bread from this bakery - it is real quality - but please dont all rush and get get in ahead of me. Much better than Chiswick branch. Only one server, so patience at peak times is required. No idea why they changed the name, nothing else seems to have changed! Superb.

I feel sad to give just two stars to this little caf. Its got nice staff and good pastries and is in a perfect location . BUT it feels abandoned and sad and has lost its umph. Coffee is served in paper cups as they actually dont have any real coffee cups. Its a total no no for me. Milk poured in a smaller cup for you to add to your little paper bucket. The interior is depressing with ugly chairs and tables pushed to the sides . No plants , no warmth and no feeling of them wanting us to be there. Theres a small outside bit but no tables , just empty cardboard boxes and a couple of crates. It feels to me like the owner has given up on the place . I wont be returning and that saddens me. Churchfield road is a vibrant neighbourhood street with many cafs to chose from. Plenty of opportunity for good and healthy competition between them. I dont see why us locals should chose a shoddy paper cup in a depressing environment when 20 meters further on you can find the best coffee in town in a proper cup and feel welcome and part of something exciting . I hope the owners will find motivation to restore some well deserved love to this little sweet place. It deserves it! Looking forward to coming back once it feels welcoming enough. Until then, I wish everyone involved the best of luck and oodles of I inspirational thoughts!
