I suggest if you want a home delivery the same day then avoid this takeaway. Disgusting customer service called for delivery and was told it would be one hour which was fine. 90 minutes later still never arrived so i called to ask how much longer it would be and was informed they was still waiting on a driver to get back to the shop and couldnt even give me a rough idea how much longer id be waiting. Not even a apology when i explained i wanted to cancel the order because it was getting late. I will never order from this takeaway again if i could give 0 stars I would.

Good food, shame about the service. Usually good, must be under new management... Had a takeaway and realised when home they charged 10 too much. Now can't get hold of them on the phone to complain.

Delivered our order, paid cash plus tip and were disappointed to find that 2 orders of onion Bahjis had been left out, tried for an hour to call them to no avail, permanently engaged. The food was mediocre to say the least and the naan breads were very small, Id say the smallest ever, very poor experience all round.

Would have zero stars if I could. Ive ordered from these guys for over 15 years spending 15-45 in an order to be collected or delivered. Had the odd issue from things not being delivered and wondering whether to wait for everything to get cold and wait for to be delivered. Once its finally been delivered the inconsistency from dish to dish with how spicy it is is obvious. Obviously they have different cooks on different days. However, having these issues I always ordered from these guys. My latest order will be my last. I called after a very busy and long day at work on a Sunday evening. I asked for the order to be delivered, gave the order over the phone and asked for the price. Soon as I hung up I realised they hadnt asked for my address. Called them back and said I wanted That order to be delivered. Omg is all I can say it appeared instantly that this was a problem for them as I received a large amount of complaint as to why I hadnt stated this. I had, at the very beginning. There was no way after the day I had I was going to pick up. After many a conversation someone else came on the phone and the order was finalised. So, I went to the local shop to get some bits and got 25 cash back as was told the order would be 22.35, thinking it was a half decent tip for the driver. (Ive delivered Indian takeaways myself so know about tipping). Driver arrived and said the order was 26 something. I stated I literally have 25 cash and explained why. The driver accepted the money and went on his way. Thought no problems. After the 3rd missed call from Acle Spice I called them back, baring in mind I was still eating my takeaway. He told me I short changed the driver. I told him that yes I did as I was paying the price quoted at ordering. He then told me that they do not always tell customers of their order value and its my fault. I told him that Ive been ordering from him for decades and he is now arguing with me, as I eat, about just over 1 difference. Pathetic! Soon as I told him how much we order from him he was all nice and apologetic. Tough luck buddy, Blofield Heath will be gettin our business from know on and treat their customers better than Acle Spice ever did. Never had a problem with the guys in Blofield Heath.
