Staff are lovely, very professional, and I felt as though I was in good hands, also they didn't push to sell me anything I didn't need.

Excellent opticians. I received a fantastic, professional service at David Gould opticians, and at a competitive price. They discovered that my previous glasses (fitted by another local optician) had the wrong prescription and varifocal lenses (which i specifically said i didn't want); explaining my 18 months of vision problems! The also provided some transition lenses that worked whilst driving, at no extra cost. An amazing service from some lovely people, thank you all so much.

Absolutely the best place to go for custom contact lens I have had to have a special set up for work as wearing PPE and glasses doesnt work for me first class

First I had to sign something electronically which I couldnt see. When I questioned it I was told it was a lot of trouble to print it off and was only so I could get the test free as Im over 60. Really!?! Excellent testing but the recommended lenses (not much different to my previous prescription) were very expensive in comparison to previous ones elsewhere (double??). My glasses were ready quickly - 1 week. I had to make an appointment to collect them and due to traffic had to rush to get there on time. However although there were 4 staff present I was asked to wait. After 20 minutes waiting, during which time one customer complained about waiting 25 minutes so cancelled his appointment, I asked what the delay was since I was only there to collect my glasses. I was told that one of the staff had double-booked appointments. I asked why I had not been told this, complained about the wait, so asked for my glasses and left. I dont think I will return.
