READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE AGREEING TO ANYTHING! On their website they had a car that was "CANCELLED ORDER, waiting on forecourt" so was a really good deal on a C200 at around 350 per month. As I needed a car quickly I decided to go for this over Nationwide. Nothing happened for two weeks, even though it was apparently 'on the forecourt'. After being given several cock and bull stories about delivery i decided to cancel the lease and was then sent a email demanding 1200! After reading T+Cs i realised that it said if i cancelled the order I would be liable for 3 months rent even though I hadn't even signed any credit agreement or anything! They told me I wasn't covered by distance selling regs even though I had bought it over the web and demanded the money. After I realised it was going nowhere I decided to negotiate and got them to reduce the cancellation charge to 502, as they had to pay Mercedes money to cancel the order. Begrudgingly I decided to pay this as I just wanted it over with. My advice would be to read everything they send you, be aware of any charges you may incur for cancellation and any damage at the end of the contract (sometimes in the 1000s).
