I was interested in Chesterfield Sofas for a while and spent a couple of days on the road with my wife travelling up north to see as many Chesterfield Sofa companies as possible. When I met Andy, was taken back immediately, showed us around his workshop, nothing but an honest and humble company. Visited several manufacturers and although the Handmade Chesterfield Sofa Company was not like the big manufacturers, I knew from meeting with Andy that I would get a quality product and a company who really cares about their customer. It was my first time buying a chesterfield sofa and Andy spent a good deal of time walking me through the different styles, comfort levels, cushioned, buttoned and lots of other information that I never knew. This was important to make sure I made the right choice. Started an email exchange on colours, Hayley was great sent me so many sample leather and asked me to wet the leather, rub it and performs some tests before I decided (very helpful advise and something I would not have done had Hayley not mentioned it). The colour choices were amazing and went with Bottle Top Green in the end. Andy delivered my sofa in person as there were no immediate deliveries from his company down to London and I am over the moon with the sofa, such quality craftmanship... I would highly recommend based on price of Chesterfield Sofas and the quality. I will definitely use them again and everyone who sees the sofa say they love it, so will happily share their details with anyone who asks.

We have 2 revues on here. The first one is regarding not picking up the phone calls. Were a factory and my secretary was on furlough and I make the sofas and cant be n 2 places at once. The second one has nothing to do with us , we dont make desks so please can the person who posted the review take it off

Ordered desk for 1000 in July, not arrived by end of year, started s75 claim. (TL; DR) UPDATE - arrived six months after ordering. I have had an odd and entirely negative experience with this company. Delays. I ordered a Ponti desk on 12 July, and have had various emails from them delaying delivery (in September I was told "the end of next month", in October I was told "3 to 4 weeks"). I explained I needed it by the end of November and was promised I'd get it. I was then told to expect it on wb 13 December. On 13 December I received an email saying it was stuck in customs, to expect it in January and not to contact them about it further. When I asked for evidence that the desk actually existed (e.g. a customs form) I was told they had nothing more to add. So I have had to start a s75 claim to get my money back. Customer service. Their service is odd. The emails I have exchanged with them involve them being very defensive and seeking sympathy that their business isn't going very well. They have sent photos of their warehouse, apparently to show me things are backed up. At one point they sought to rely on an odd term in their T&Cs and told me to contact CAB to discuss. When I explained I was a lawyer, and their term was illegal (it sought to exclude consumer rights on the basis that their goods are bespoke - they are not) they didn't respond. As I mention above, their most recent communication was to tell me about another delay, tell me not to ask any more questions about delivery, and to wish me a happy Christmas. Because I was concerned about the desk not existing (i.e. this being a fraud rather than just broad incompetence) I asked them to evidence their claim my desk was stuck in customs. Their response "we have nothing further to add" has led me to start a s75 claim with my credit card provider, and to report them to trading standards. Misc. Because of my fraud concern, I looked them up. They have only existed since 2018, their registered office has changed twice in the past 18 months, they have only one director (Natalia Gallo), and their latest accounts show no assets/income and just under 100,000 of liabilities. Doesn't look great. I am sure some people got what they paid for and are OK with it. I have been out 1000 for five months and have nothing to show for it but increasingly bizarre correspondence. So beware! UPDATE: So they ignored my last email which said I would sue them for the return of my money. I started the s75 process with my credit card provider to get the money back. They then delivered the desk a few weeks later - around six months after ordered it by sticking it in my shed. No one from the company explained it was on its way - they used a courier company that Ive used before so Id assumed it was from family to something. The desk is nice so Ive given them three stars. If I had to do it all over again I wouldnt have ordered it - their customer service was just too bad.

Good Communication when I first place my order and they understood my requirement for bespoke measurement for my chesterfield suite. On numerous occasions I tried to telephone the company but no-one at the company picked up the phone. I also could not leave a message on the voicemail facility as the voice mail facility was full up. My emails also went unanswered...makes the company look bad. However, the company finally delivered my chesterfield sofa sets. It is clear to me that the sofa's are well made and they look fantastic. The company lets itself down only due to difficulty communicating with them, hence the three star rating..

Visited several manufacturers and although the Handmade Chesterfield Sofa Company was not like the big manufacturers, I knew from meeting with Andy that I would get a quality product and a company who really cares about their customer.
It was my first time buying a chesterfield sofa and Andy spent a good deal of time walking me through the different styles, comfort levels, cushioned, buttoned and lots of other information that I never knew. This was important to make sure I made the right choice.
