Id just like to say a very big thank you to Peter, Sonia and the rest of the staff that were so caring throughout the whole process after losing my wonderful Les Parker. Id also like to thank the humanist Neil who we were put in touch with via Sonia, he was so kind and the service was so befitting to what Les wanted. Thank you so much for being so wonderful during such a sad time for all our family and friends. Xxx

Peter and Sonia and all the staff at HFS are wonderful. At one of the saddest times they are caring and compassionate and go above and beyond what is required of them whilst still keeping a personal touch. On behalf of my family I cannot thank them enough for helping us on such an emotional day.

Hyndburn funeral services cared for two members of my family. Sonia & Peter are two of the nicest people I have ever met ( and I work with the public). The warm welcoming approach, friendly professional service is second to none. Their attention to detail, support & guidance during our bereavement made saying good bye to our loved ones much more bearable.

If I could give it a zero I would. Sonia was really insensitive when I met her about my mum's funeral. She said when picking the coffin (although she may have being helpful) "the coffin is just going to be burnt anyway" I should have said something but I ddidnt I was devastated. I rang her the day before my mum's fundal as she said. I wanted to sit with my mum. She said because she had died from COVID there were other people that needed to be with their loved ones who had not died from COID and it would be difficult to sort a viewing room out. My mum was 75 - she went into hospital with a urine infection and contracted COVID. We told this to Sonia. She eventually agreed to let me sit with my mum, after telling me she had had a terrible day with the Police calling re an unidentified body and a Chinese family where she was having to sort out the funeral with the moon aligning with the stars. I was left feeling really hurt and devastated not knowing where my mum was. DO NOT USE THIS FUNERAL SERVICE
