We asked Steve to fit 9 internal doors for us and Laminate flooring to our Hall and Kitchen. Basically we were left in the same position as the other reviewer we had to finish off the job ourselves (actually in all honestly we are still trying to finish it 6 months later). We still have doors that steve fitted that dont close, hinges that are falling off, and an oak door with the edge missing from It. Steve gave himself a week for the job but 4 days in it was clear he was going to struggle to finish it. He had another job lined up for the following week and left basically most of the job for a sub contractor to complete in less than 3 days - 4 doors and the laminate floor plus repairs to a door that was Fitted that you could see through to the next room due to the gap that had been left (the sub contractor was really good and he tried his best to repair everything and really knew what he was doing). He was annoyed at how much work that Steve had left for him to do and in fairness he was left in a really difficult position. We complained to STeve at the time but he did not respond well to any constructive criticism and in the end only my husband could speak with him, he blamed me for ordering the wrong doors but didnt help in sizes and what to order?!! (Disaster) I still wish Steve all the best, his job price was really competitive and he tried to finish it. His title is plaster of Harris and therefore he could be really skilled on this area but I couldnt recommend him for DIY/ carpentry jobs based on our experience.

Steven was very easy to be with while he was on the job. would highly recommend!

Not nice experience. Had to finish some of the work ourselves.
