This is a brilliant B &B just a few miles from Keswick with excellent access to the fells around. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, and the additional pack lunch for a small fee had a variety of goodies and tasty sandwiches. I had a lovely double room with an enormous bathroom (with a bath). Some of my clothes got wet while put walking and the owners kindly dried them off. Lots of helpful knowledge was shared about the surrounding area. They even provided a parking disc to use with some of the disc parking in Keswick.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay with our dog. The hosts Clive & Sue were so welcoming and what a lovely touch to give us tea and cake on our arrival. The breakfast was amazing! Fresh fruit salad, yogurt and a full english with toast. All made to order by Sue and absolutely delicious. The location is fantastic, lovely and quiet at night and great for walks. You can walk to Whinlatter. We stayed in The Whinlatter Suite as they allow dogs in this room. The bed was comfortable and shower was very nice and hot. The 2nd room was a little cold as it only has a small radiator. We did notice a few cobwebs and dust here and there, but that's really nit picking. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying.
