        Delicious food with service verging on an episode from faulty towers! That said it's a fabulous local pub, with amazing pies, a delicious menu and a wide ranging selection of drinks.         My annual pilgrimage from New Jersey USA to the Pig & Abbot! A trip to the motherland is not complete without coming here for the home cooked food, the minted lamb pie is off the hook, the hospitality is fantastic and alway lovely to see Pat and so sorry that Mick is no longer with us. If you want a real English country pub, with real home cooked English food - this place is a must visit!
