Premier Inn Abingdon hotel

This hotel will be closing and moving to a new building later this year - the staff are very good but the building is in a bad way inside - cracked and broken tiles with mold in the bathrooms! No money will be spent fixing it up ! It's no longer worth the prices charged per night ! It is a disgrace to call it a 'Premier Inn' as it no longer is

Once again, the Premier Inn is super value. This location is positioned with easy access both via car or walking. Friendly staff and would like to shout out to Elly or Ellie (spelling?) who was always super helpful and truly emulates customer service. Unfortunately, we were woken up most nights of our stay with young wanna be fast and furious car and dirt bike riders in the parking lot or street next to the hotel... thats an issue for the local police to tackle. It's worth a stay with them... but there were a few challenges... They are building a new hotel up the road but not sure when it will be finished. Also, the Beefeater is just next door... It is what it is. It's conveniently located but wasn't very impressed with the cleanliness, food, etc.(I think they are short staffed) There are much better places to eat on the way or in town.

Rooms: Dated and tired. Damp smelling, thin walls poor quality TV. One plug socket. Food & drinks: Awful awful restaurant. Deeply disappointing, even at this price point.
