The Malthouse Surgery

Disgraceful. My father has MS and hip that keeps slipping out of place and is in constant pain. He needs a doctor to check over and refer for an X-ray. He cant go to A and E as obviously not an emergency. He also cant go to minor injuries as not an injury in the past 24 hours. Spoken with receptionist to ask her advice and to book appointment. You can no longer book an appointment as you have to have a phone consultation with a GP who will decide whether you need an appointment. He has to wait 17 days for this. Utterly astounding and surprising as Witney is nothing like this.

Possibly this is the same anywhere now? But waiting 3 weeks for your Doctor to call you back, then on average another 10 days for the appointment, they book you to come around, then the referral they arrange for you at hospital is in 7 months time, they're obviously hoping you'll die before hand so they won't have to bother!

Absolutely brilliant service right from the reception service to physio and then to the Dr. All sorted within 3 working days. Thank you all at the Malthouse Surgery.
