Nationwide Building Society

I have used this bank for years. The staff are excellent. In most respects the service has been excellent too. However, when I had to use Power Of Attorney it was a very different story. I no longer use Nationwide for that part of their service (it's not a branch-level problem, it's Nationwide) so I'm a happier customer these days. p.s. the company response below is to an earlier 1 star review. I did not take up the offer of contacting them about that area of their service because I'd discussed it with them so many times and nothing was resolved. Still 1 star on PoA

6 years on and Nationwide are still giving us excellent service Online banking secure and easy to use Nationwide ensures safety with banking, purchases, transfer of funds and etc.. We have been using this branch for many years now with no complaints, the staff are efficient, professional, cheerful and always happy to help with any queries.

I had a problem whereby one of staff made an error and didn't allow me to access a service that they should have - it happens. The branch manager got in contact, explained they had offered retraining to the staff and offered to personally go through the issue with me ASAP. People make mistakes, it's how you deal with it that counts - very happy with the service from this branch and Nationwide more generally.
