We spent a lovely week at The Annex and it was perfect for our family of 4. The upstairs was the a fabulous size, with a double bed, 2 single beds, a sofa, TV and ensuite bathroom - our 2 children really enjoyed having their own space. Downstairs includes a fabulous wet room, bedroom, kitchen/diner and a lounge which were all very comfortable. The kitchen includes all the appliances you need for a self-catering holiday, with the added benefit of a washing machine/tumble dryer. The outdoor space is amazing - a great sized pool, hot tub, table tennis table and tennis court. There's also outdoor furniture so you can comfortably sit outside and enjoy the fabulous sea view. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Locally, the village pub is within walking distance and has lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a good food selection. There's also "The Big Sheep" farm park which is great fun and great value. There are numerous beaches within a short drive, including Westward Ho! and Puttsborough. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Annex as a great place for a family self-catering holiday.

A great house for a large family that can cater for a range of adults and children and, if properly controlled, dogs. We have been a few times and like the amenities: pool table, share of swimming pool with the next door annex and a hot tub. There are lots of different spaces so we can spread out or come together as we like. The kitchen is very spacious and extremely well-equiped. We like the wine cooler for example. The large gas barbeque, terrace and garden all make this an excellent base, with Croyde Bay not too far to drive to. The only negatives are that there could be a little more attention to detail (e.g. checking light bulbs work) but that's being picky. A real home from home! Looking forward to coming back!
