A wonderful day spent in the sunshine at Abbotsbury Gardens. It felt like being in another country.

Beautiful gardens, picturesque with plenty to look at. Good paths with an accessible route well maintained as well. Cakes and coffee were good, and plenty of benches to stop and take in the garden. Dog friendly, no play area but a rope bridge, and sculpture of children's book characters to spot. The only toilets were at the cafe as you came in, these were clean, but my son hated the noisy driers. No designated picnic area but plenty of picnic friendly spots you can stop at!
