First used these kennels in July 2020 and have used them ever since. My dog Bailey loves it there. Hes due back for his 3rd visit 14th March which was a last minute booking. Hes also booked in for two weeks from 22nd July. Dave and Bev really look after him well. Highly recommended!

I found it fairly difficult to reach Verulam Farm Kennels by telephone as they were closed for a few months from Christmas until February. Eventually when they finally replied to my voice messages, I informed the owner that I was considering making five bookings for the coming year. I was told by the owner that they would charge me 60 per night for my two dogs sharing (1 small and 1 large breed) - they charge 30 a night per dog regardless. Reading several reviews on this site regarding lack of proper feeding of some dogs during their stay really put me off and I found the cost to be excessive. I was informed that I would not able to make an inspection visit until the end of February even though our first holiday was at the very beginning of March so we decided against booking. We have since booked a local kennel that we have used before. Our two boys will stay in a luxury kennel with under floor heating and its own run: Daily Charge for our Boys sharing 44 a night (including administering both of their daily medications) Food: Arden Grove or Burns

Many thanks to Dave and Bev for looking after our old cocker spaniel at short notice. We will definitely use again.

Refused my American bulldog who is the friendliest, most well behaved dog. I was told their kennels are too small to accommodate him. He is a medium sized dog, not large in the slightest. My friend then phoned about booking in her intact newfoundland male dog (significantly larger than my dog) which they happily accepted and explained they have double kennels to accommodate for his size. We then queried why our American bulldog was too big with the employee/owner, who swiftly hung up the phone without denying anything. We also have evidence of the conversion had. Its quite sad they are judging a dog breed so harshly. I am just so glad I found this out because I would not want my dog staying with such awful judgemental people. Very disappointing.
