Today we visited the Ben Kinsella foundation experience in Barking. We are a SEND group from Barking and Dagenham College. We found it a very educational and eye opening experience. The students were interested throughout the experience and found the people at the charity very engaging. The content, although a difficult topic was shown with the greatest of care and respect. Would highly recommend!

My experience at the Ben Kinsella Trust in Barking was beyond powerful. They have created a compact space to move and touch you as well as educate you on the impact of knife crime. I was very moved by the footage I saw and also the tragic losses of young people in the community in the borough of Barking. I truly believe this new venue will help so many young people wake up to the preciousness of their lives and start asking new questions, so that they can make courgaeous changes to move forward in a positive and new direction. Keep up the truly great work!!

Every young person needs to go to this exhibition. Such a powerful story told in a way that is effective and will prevent young people firm carrying a knife. Very thought provoking. If you work in a school or have contact with young people, you have a duty to take them to this.
