On the first occasion was for a step and hand rail in the garden, it was a wet summer day which hampered them so they left for a few hrs and returned later. They did some of the work and said they would return another day which of course they didn't. The wooden frame to poor cement into was left on, rails not capped off, a bag of cement which got left went hard. Lumps of cement went rock hard embedded into the lawn. The wooden frame around the step created a lip which was a trip hazard. Various calls to the council yet no return. 6 months later I get a call from the sbb group saying they would be out to fit a bannister rail, I said you've not completed the job from 6 months previously , told it would not have been our men. Surprisingly you guessed it one of the garden step builders turn up, I said you haven't finished the job in the garden, he said he was on holiday, I said for 6 months. Anyway he did the bannister rail and a appalling job made. Will be contacting The council as the job that was supposed to aid elderly people has actually made it worst.
