Superb ruin of the thirteenth century England's richest religious house

Fascinating place to visit, very atmospheric, lots of information, the modern road running through the middle of the ruin adds a sense of past meets present, particularly thought provoking when you consider the roads history, parking is a little restricted but well worth a visit.
