The Pod is FAB beautiful snug space for two inside and a sunny patio perfect for a glass of wine or al fresco breakfast watching the sheep and lambs in the field on your doorstep, or admiring the 12th Century Dore Abbey right next door. Super owners too. Great location for exploring the beautiful Golden Valley, Hereford and Herefordshire, Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons and the Welsh Marches. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Tan House Farm in the summer of 2008 while researching family history links in Herefordshire and neighbouring counties. It was a delightful experience with the friendly, efficient and concerned Mrs Powell with her family on this working farm. She provided a very comfortable and exceptionally clean room with a view of the countryside at a very reasonable rate. I remember the breakfast was also exceptional with many choices of breads, conserves and fruits with a traditional English breakfast. I hope to stay there again when I next return to this beautiful part of England.
